1) Spline Curves

2) Adaptive Noise Reduction

3) Fade In/Out

The first picture shows the effect 'Spline Curves' which I applied to most of my speech audio. In my speaking, my volume varied so I muted the effect of this by manipulating the volume in post-production to keep a consistent, audible volume. This effect makes the volume shift more smoothly so that the change in volume is less sharp to hear.

The second screenshot shows the effect 'Adaptive Noise Reduction' which I applied to one section of audio clips after my feedback. The feedback said that this audio was worse quality so I used this effect to try to improve the audio.

The final screenshot shows the use of fading in my podcast. This feature is extremely common in professional radio shows or podcasts because it heightens the status of the audio. Fades signify  a transition to something different so I used these mainly at the start and end of segments to show the end and beginning.
