The first recordings I did were the podcast presentation where I took the script and microphone to a quiet room and recorded. This was a scripted studio recording and I recorded up to halfway through my script. After this, I took the Micro SD card from the microphone and inputted my audio files. The next day, I went back and finished the recordings of the podcasts and uploaded the audio. Next, I had to record my Vox pops, I contacted my interviewees and organised to meet them when I had a microphone, recorded and got their signatures for the talent release forms.

I used the Zoom H1 microphone to record my podcast including two of the Vox pops, this microphone is high-quality and records audio well. With the other Vox pop, I used an audio recorder app on my phone, it achieved recording of a slightly lower quality than the microphone but it was still sufficient to make it into my podcast. I made sure to keep the microphone not too close but not too far from my mouth when I was recording to try to optimize the quality of the sound recording.
